LUGB Series Vortex Flow Meter
Using Karman vortex technology, this flow meter accurately measures steam, gases and low-viscosity liquids like water and gasoline.
Working Principle:
A non-streamlined vortex generator is installed inside the flowmeter. When fluid passes through, two rows of regular vortices are alternately generated on both sides of the vortex generator, which is known as the Karman vortex street. The frequency of the vortices is proportional to the flow velocity. The volumetric flow rate of the fluid is obtained by detecting the vortex frequency through a built-in sensor.
